Version 7.0 takes ClassifyIt beyond classification. It builds on best-of-breed cryptography through OpenSSL, extends the open Trusted Data Format into a verifiable security container for data, and introduces the iCLASS standard to standardise the representation of national and organisational protective security markings — while maintaining ClassifyIt's strong enforcement of compliant security markings across your documents.
CI-TDF Container Format
Encrypted attachments now travel as Trusted Data Format objects: a signed manifest describes exactly how each file is encrypted, wrapped and classified.
Additional assertions will be developed to further support Zero Trust environments, including metadata, STANAG 4774 and more.
Built on OpenSSL
AES-256-GCM encryption, ECDH/RSA-OAEP key exchange, and real ECDSA/RSA signatures. The same widely audited, open-source cryptography that secures the Internet.
iCLASS Classification Standard
Short, precise and designed to meet the need. Every document and encrypted CI-TDF container carries a standardised classification assertion defining the originator, classification level and releasability of the document.
